Club President Roxanne Ostlund and her mother, Donna, put on a great party (again) at their home for the club Christmas party, attended by several club members and a few guests, who enjoyed Roxanne's special shrimp cocktail, Pat Colgan's smoked turkey and many other culinary delights, as well as great conversations between club members and guests.
A guest remarked that it was one of the "coziest" parties they'd attended this holiday season, partly because of Larry The Dog wandering between guests looking for a bite here and there, but mostly because of the festive holiday decorations gracing the home of Donna and Roxanne.
That they managed to do it without the assistance of Roxanne's husband Tom, away on his ministerial duties, was doubly evidence that home parties produce great fellowship and a warm sense of belonging among club members and those invited to take part.
