"I'm optimistic about the future of Rotary after meeting with these young people," one Cheyenne Sunrise Rotary member said upon leaving the meeting April 21 in which CSR members shared ideas with young Rotaractors and vice versa. Six members of our club attended a Rotaract meeting at Sanfords downtown (they meet every other Tuesday at 5:45 p.m. and anyone is welcome).

CSR members who attended the Rotary District Assembly meeting last weekend shared their thoughts of what they got out of the meeting and several Rotaract members who attended the same meeting shared theirs. After the meeting, CSR incoming president Brenda Laird suggested our club help some Rotaract members financially to attend the District Conference in June.

CSR member Milward Simpson suggested passing the "pineapple" from CSR members to donate to the Rotarct Club, which resulted in a cash donation of over $100. CSR member Dr. Lakhman Gondalia clarified for the young Rotarians the longstanding polio campaign by Rotary International and its importance, including the fact we must never stop immunizing for the virus.
