Incoming President Brenda Laird asks that all club members consider volunteering for the golf fundraiser June 26th at noon at the Cheyenne Country Club even if they don't golf. "We can use you as Greeters, Hole Watchers, and other positions even if you don't play--you could be helping out our only fundraiser of the year," she said.

The goal this year is to get 90 golfers to play, so if you know of someone who plays or could put a team of four players together, please contact one of the golf committee members listed on the story above. "Skill is also not a requirement for this tournament," Brenda said, "as we've had people play who played golf for the first time in their lives--we accommodate everyone."

She emphasized that golf sponsorships are the most pressing need right now. Hole sponsors pay $200 and get their name on a sign on the hole sponsored, receive recognition at the event and in the publicity we generate before and after the event. "It's a great fundraiser and very important to the three entities we raise money for--the Foster Grandparent's program, our own scholarship at Laramie County Community College and our own club foundation," Brenda said.
