What a great....wait AMAZING....day to be a Sunrise Rotarian.  The morning was beautiful, 17 Rotarian's were in the house in person or Zooming, we had two guests, several friends we have missed AND a great presentation from Ron Rabou.
A BIG thank you to Jim Coffin for all of the hard work that went into making Saturday's Family Promise Service Project a huge success.  It took 7 car loads to take donated supplies to Family Promise's storage and a very nice cash donation was made.  We are an amazing, golden hearted club with giving hands.  A special thanks to Noon Rotarian, Nancy Coffin for helping out as well.
Ron Rabou gave a presentation on his new book "Make Your Own Way" along with stories filled with humor and a few tears on just how short and precious life can be.  Ron's family owns a farm in Albin, WY.  He is a 5th generation Rabou ranching in this area.  He is determined to find demand for crops he raises and sell a market driven organic product.  One product, Ron grows, that has been talked about and is in the news is the hemp plant.  He explained what the "hemp seed" is all about.  Additionally, have you heard about yellow peas?  That is another topic which would be fun to learn more about.  Time went way too fast.  Thank you Mr. Rabou for the presentation and for working towards a better tomorrow in agriculture for Wyoming.
