The Cheyenne Sunrise Rotary Club’s new president for 2013-14, Andy Miller, was sworn in June 25 by Past District Governor George McIlvaine. Miller is the youngest member of the club and has been its Rotary Foundation Chair for the past three years. He is a Vice President of Commercial Lending for Wyoming State Bank. Also sworn in was incoming President-Elect Carrie Westling and new Foundation Chair Lew Stubbs.
Continuing as Club Secretary is Brenda Laird and as Treasurer, Roxanne Ostlund.
Miller noted in his remarks he has three goals for the club in the coming year; engaging members in club activities, utilizing district grants for more humanitarian projects both at home and abroad, and completing work on the club’s foundation, which separated from it’s parent, the Noon Rotary Club.
Sunrise Rotary now has 40 members and meets each Tuesday at 6:45 a.m. at the Cheyenne Holiday Inn. Miller urged those interested in the club to go to www.cheyennesunriserotary.com.
