What a beautiful fall day to be Sunrise Rotarian.  A room full of Rotarian's working towards making a difference in the community and being an inspiration to others. This day happened to be the 16th anniversary of the Cheyenne Sunrise Rotary club charter. It is amazing to realize how much we have accomplished as a club over the last 16 years. Here's to 16 more!

Our guest speaker Tuesday was the new director of Cheyenne’s Botanic Gardens, Tina Worthman.  She gave us an update on what is going on at the gardens and the excitement of having a beautiful location for weddings and events.  Art is also in the air at the gardens with art classes taking place.  What a true asset to the Cheyenne community.

A few announcements:
The Cheyenne Rotary After Hours club has reserved the L'Orangerie at the Botanic Gardens on September 25th for a Explore Rotary Membership event from 5:30-6:30 p.m.. We will have refreshments and would love to have members from your club invite potential members to attend---we are hoping that community members interested in Rotary will attend and see all that Rotary has to offer regardless of which club they end up joining it is a win for Rotary---we just want them to join!!!  Kathy Claywell and Brenda Laird volunteered to go and represent Sunrise Rotary but all are invited to swing by and visit.

The Noon Club is celebrating 100 years of Rotary in Cheyenne with a dinner.  The club voted to sponsor two tickets and Larry Catalano will take his bride and represent the club.

Thankful Thursday is rapidly approaching.  Be sure and get your 50/50 raffle tickets from Dorothy.  Please bring booze (no not to drink) to the next meeting to fill up the wheel barrow to be auctioned off.
